In conjunction with the name day of Santa Cecilia, on November 22nd at 17:00 homage will be paid to Jesús Carmona Ríos, first director of the Municipal Musical Band of #MairenadelAlcor.
The act will take place in the band’s rehearsal room, Centro Antonio Machado, and all residents are welcome to attend.
The beginnings of the band appear linked to the name of Mairenero Jesús Carmona Ríos, who was its first director in 1930, and there are documents that confirm this, such as the signing of the first agreement of the band with the Municipality, on June 16 of that year.
