Tribute to Dr. J. Robin Warren: The Nobel Laureate Who Revolutionized Stomach Ulcer Treatment with H. pylori Discovery

Dr. J. And the idea that bacteria could even thrive in the stomach was considered sacrilege. Dr. Warren was born on 11 June 1937 in North Adelaide, Australia. He studied medicine at the University of Adelaide and graduated in 1961. He wanted to focus on psychiatry, but was not accepted into the residency program. Instead, he chose clinical pathology. In 1968, he became a pathologist at the Royal Perth Hospital. At the beginning of Dr. Warren with H. pylori, the only person who doesn’t think he’s crazy is his wife.
