Tribal attacked by the tiger Individuals killed Leopard | Mankulam Information Idukki

Mankulam (Idukki) ∙ A tribal farmer tore apart a tiger that jumped out of the forest to attack. Gopalan (48) from Chikkanamkudi Adivasi Shrine was hurt in the tiger assault and was admitted to Adimali Taluk hospital. Equally of Gopalan’s arms were being scratched by the tiger. His right arm was also damaged.

Forest Minister AK Saseendran instructed officials that Gopalan killed the tiger in self-defense and not to sue. Neetu Lakshmi, Main Forest Conservator, Southern Area (Kottayam) reported that the federal government will bear the whole value of Gopalan’s cure.

The incident transpired yesterday at 7 in the early morning near the tribal settlement of Chikkanamkudi in the forest division of Mankulam. The fallen tiger died promptly.

On Thursday, a tiger was trapped in a plastic web tied close to a chicken coop in this spot, she broke the net and escaped. The tiger autopsy will be carried out these days at the Mankulam Forest Selection Workplace. As portion of the methods, the forestry division will look into the incident.
