“Triāna Parks” publishes a musical triptych from three interconnected clips

The group “Triānas Parks” has released a triptych “Thoughts”, which consists of three interrelated video clips – “Outside”, “Watch and Learn” and “Pastorale”, reflecting the group’s feelings about the current time.

With the triptych “Domu raksti”, the band “Triānas Parks” continues the journey started with the albums “11” and “Compositions” – the current feelings about Latvia and being Latvians, telling them through the well-known prism of pop music. The year 2021 has been thoughtful and challenging for the group “Triānas Parks” to look for new formats of expression, “says Agneses Rozniece & Co’s public relations team.

Subjectively, these three songs do not go together stylistically – you have to know Agnese’s feelings and / or feel them in order to perceive this triptych as a single cycle. But every song, or at least its video, has some beauty, for example, in the clip of the rather weak piece “Outside” (it turns out that there is something Agnese can’t repot) you can enjoy the drummer buried in the autumn winter and in the coupes, “Pastorale” makes you think about high topics, while “Watch and Learn” is valid in all respects – a song with a stylish video in the spirit of the group “Royal Blood”.

Inspired by the art of theater and cinema, the video format that combines three separate stories into one is important. Artists from various disciplines have been involved in its creation – “Triānas Parks” has collaborated with the Daugavpils choir “Daugava”, the dance ensemble “Daiļrade”, the artist Laima Jurčs, the composer Rūdolfs Macats, – again from the “triians”. The author of the idea and direction is the leader of the group Agnese Rozniece, who has developed and implemented the idea in close cooperation with the director Ivars Burtnieks. The music producer is Kristaps Ērglis, the compositions were recorded and processed by Reinis Kārkliņš in the studio “Aleja Records”, sound mix – Gatis Zaķis.
