Saturday night it was finally ready for the premiere of “Shall we dance: All stars”, where the former participants will compete for the first time.
VG followed the broadcast directly and broadcast a live broadcast with the participants during the news break on TV 2, as well as at the end of the broadcast.
For the first time, a contestant was sent home during the prime time of the program.
After the 13 participants rocked on the floor, it became clear that it was Kari Traa and Triana Iglesias who had to duel.
Judges Trine Dæhli Kleve and Merete Lingjærde would have sent Kari Traa if it had been for them. Morten Hegseth singled out Triana as her favorite of hers because, according to the VGTV profile, she had more “push and dance” in her.
People agreed with the judges and voted for Kari Traa.

Also in attendance is program leader for ten seasons and season one winner Kathrine Moholt. The new presenter this year along with Anders Hoff is Helene Olafsen.
The first participant to go into the fire was Alexander Hetland. He and partner Helen Spilling tangoed, with mixed feedback from the judges.
– I said at the beginning that I will be critical and I am here, said Trine Dehli Cleve.

Hetland and Spilling tell VG that they get extra motivation from the feedback to the judges and that they are all in all happy with the opening act of the night.
– I may not completely agree with the judges on everything, but there are a couple of things they say I just have to nail. It gives me a little extra motivation to nail him, Hetland said.

Martine Lunde also received criticism. The judges said they expect a high level this season.
