Darmstadt / Weibersbrunn (dpa) – The trial of a violent crime in which the body of a woman was removed near Weibersbrunn in the district of Aschaffenburg is being renegotiated in Hesse. The reason for this is that the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe had collected the original judgment and ordered that it be renegotiated before the Darmstadt Regional Court. As of today, a 54-year-old man has to answer again. He is accused of killing a friend in August 2017 out of jealousy.
The accused, who has Turkish and German citizenship, is said to have passed the woman in Frankfurt / Main in a car, drugged her and sexually assaulted her. Then he is said to have killed the 47-year-old and put the body at Weibersbrunn.
In the first trial, the man was sentenced to twelve years in prison for manslaughter. According to the judges in Karlsruhe, murder is also an option.
