Today, Wednesday, the Fuwah Criminal Court, “Third Circuit,” in Kafr El-Sheikh, resumed the trial of a forty-year-old housewife who decided to kill her student daughter because of disagreements with her, after the court assigned the lawyer who had the primary role to defend her.

Counselor Mohamed Al-Murr, President of the Fuwah Criminal Court, “Third Circuit”, had decided to postpone the trial of the accused of killing her daughter to today’s session, Wednesday, and to assign the lawyer with the original role, Mohamed Abdel Fattah, to defend the accused, due to the lack of a lawyer to assume the duties of defending her.
Counselor Mohamed Siraj, the general attorney for the Kafr El-Sheikh Public Prosecution Office, referred the woman, Siham Y.S.S., 47 years old, a housewife who lives in Al-Safia village in the Desouk district, to the Fuwa Criminal Court to be tried for what was assigned to her.
According to the decision to refer the accused to the Fawa Criminal Court, it was found that on May 21, 2023, in the Desouk Police Station, she killed her child, Rawan Hafez Hafez Al-Farnwani, intentionally, with premeditation, with premeditated intent, and was determined to kill her because she was angry with her after she disclosed to her her urgent desire to work like her sister, who was A dispute with the accused, and freedom from her excessive control over her affairs.
It turned out that these words from the daughter ignited the accused’s anger towards her, so she deliberately decided to kill her and used a white weapon “knife” in her residence. She stabbed the victim several times in her neck while she was sleeping, intending to kill her, causing the injuries described in the autopsy report that claimed her life.
She was also charged with carrying a white weapon (a knife) without having a legal justification for carrying or keeping it or justification for professional or literal necessity.
