Trial of Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp. Heard confessed to droppings left in Depp’s bed

One of the couple’s bodyguards was questioned in the Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp trial on Thursday. He testified that the actress confessed to having left a stool in the bed. She was supposed to call it “the joke that went wrong”.

The statement by security member Starling Jenkins was about a party hosted at the actors’ apartment on April 21, 2016, to celebrate their 30th birthday. Amber Heard. Her husband showed up late because of – as he testified Johnny Depp a few days earlier in court – an important conversation with his financial advisor. After dinner, according to the star, Heard was supposed to berate him and hit him. Depp then went to his home in Hollywood Hills.

The next morning, when his wife went to the Coachella music festival as planned, cleaning lady found faeces in the couple’s shared bed, on the side that Depp usually took. “At first I laughed. (…) It was so absurd,” he said during the interrogation, describing his reaction to the picture of the bed.

They are not dogs

Jenkins testified that he accompanied Heard on the Coachella trip. He then had “a conversation with her about the surprise she had left in the boss’s bed.” The bodyguard used the term “defecation” in his statement, while Heard was to describe the incident as “a terrible joke that went wrong”.

She later dropped the responsibility for the “surprise” on her dogs. They weigh about two kilos of teacup yorkshire terriers, so Depp refused to believe the explanation. “I lived with these dogs. I was cleaning their poop. They were not them,” he said in the process.

Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard – what’s going on

Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation for describing herself as a victim of domestic violence in a column for the Washington Post in 2018. He believes she has abused him both physically and verbally. Heard denied this and retaliated with her own lawsuit, accusing Depp of repeatedly beating her under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
