Kozhikode: The trial has started in the case against Gro Vasu for creating a road block in front of the mortuary where the dead bodies of the Maoists were kept. The witness examination in the case has been completed.
Jayachandran P., the fourth witness in the case and the CPO of the Medical College Police Station, appeared in the court. He informed the court that he saw Gro Vasu protesting. Gro Vasu clarified that he did not want to cross the witness. With this, the trial of the case was postponed to the 11th.
Meanwhile, the court scolded the police who escorted Gro Vasu. The court held that the court verandah and premises are not a place to raise slogans. Action has already been taken once. The same thing was repeated three more times. The court also directed that such actions should not take place again.
Gro Vasu went back to jail shouting slogans but the court told him not to create a situation for shouting slogans.
