NEW YORK — After a weekend of frigid temperatures, residents of the tri-state area will have a spring-like work week.
Although Monday started off with cold temperatures and even some snow and ice in the northern counties, as the morning progressed, the sun came out and temperatures began to rise. Highs on Monday afternoon are expected to exceed 50 degrees.
The taste of spring will continue through midweek with temperatures reaching 60 degrees on Wednesday. Unfortunately, we will have to deal with some rain along with warmer temperatures starting Tuesday and continuing into Thursday morning with the heaviest rain falling Wednesday night.
Once the rain ends, the sun will return to end the work week, along with cooler temperatures with temperatures that may feel in the 20s and 30s on Thursday.
