FAJAR.CO.ID, SIDOARJO – Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini launched the Indonesian Economic Heroes (PENA) Sidoarjo, at the Candi District Office, Sidoarjo, Sunday (29/10).
In front of PENA Sidoarjo beneficiary families (KPM), Social Minister Risma showed off the success of KPM from other regions, one of which was Surabaya.
“I started 2010 Surabaya Economic Heroes. At that time, maybe everyone didn’t believe it. Mrs. Risma was strange, how come dodolan (snacks) were via the internet. At that time I assured them that we could still sell even though we didn’t have a shop,” said Mrs. Risma, starting her speech.
Risma gave an example of one of the successful KPMs in Surabaya, namely Diah Cookies. “You can ask yourself, Mrs. Diah is now a billionaire, she can buy a house every year. We can emulate her success,” he continued.
Apart from praising Diah Cookies, Social Minister Risma also gave the example of Lapis Surabaya products which have now successfully opened outlets in various areas in Surabaya.
“I used to want an old cake from Surabaya that was brought back and could be used as a souvenir, then Bu Jai caught it and Lapis Surabaya appeared,” he continued.
Mrs. Risma also explained that there was no reason for Sidoarjo residents to be pessimistic.
Because, with the support of technology, all products will definitely have their own market. “Later, we will develop it and encourage them to get out of extreme poverty. Because the President is targeting completion by the end of 2024,” concluded Mrs. Risma. (jpnn/dawn)
