Tress of hair murdered President Lincoln earns 68 grand | Abroad

BOSTON – A lock of hair belonging to the assassinated American president Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) at an auction in Boston, including costs, yielded 81,250 dollars, which is more than 68,300 euros. The 5-centimeter chunk was cut during the autopsy and given to Lyman Beecher Todd, a cousin of Lincoln’s widow.
