Support for the work of the cabinet is gradually growing
An early vote would put the same 6 parties in the next parliament. This shows a nationally representative study by Trend Research Center commissioned by “24 hours” newspaper.
The study comes out today, when the constitutional deadline expires, in which “There is such a people” must return the completed term of office of the president – that is, to propose to the president a government or return an empty folder with the first investigative term of the head of state. Negotiations in the parliament continue in search of support for the announced draft cabinet with Prime Minister Plamen Nikolov.
The sociologists of “Trend” specify that their survey was made at the end of July and does not take into account the influence of the nomination of Plamen Nikolov and the list of nominated ministers.
GERB-UDF is the first political force, but with a minimal advantage over “There is such a people” – with 0.8% leads Borisov’s party over that of Slavi Trifonov.
In the elections on July 11, “There is such a people” received 24.08% and thus came out as the first force before GERB-UDF with a vote of 23.51%. The difference was 0.57%, but opinion polls did not report a vote abroad.
BSP and “Democratic Bulgaria” remain in the battle for the third place with 14.5% and 14.1% respectively. On July 11, the Red Party received 13.39% and Democratic Bulgaria – 12.64%, Trend data show that Hristo Ivanov and Atanas Atanasov continue to build trust.
The MRF remains at just over 10%.
And in the next parliament again the formation “Stand up BG! We’re coming!” would enter with 4.4%. In the last elections, the formation collected 5.01% of the vote, and now marks a slight decline compared to the latest data.
Although below the barrier, but firmly ahead of Boyko Borissov’s former coalition partners, Vazrazhdane remains at 2.9%. Only with a percentage behind them is IMRO / Bulgarian Patriots with 1.9% and “Bulgarian Summer” with 1.1%.
51% think the July 11 vote was fair, with only 15% dissenting. Obviously, machine voting increases confidence in the electoral process, and the prevailing opinion is that it should remain – 57%, against only 12%, according to which the ballot paper should be returned.
Only 8% stated that they had difficulty with machine voting, these are predominantly elderly people. In the 70+ age group, just over a quarter report difficulties.
Support for the work of the cabinet is gradually growing. In July, 40% rated it positively and 42% negatively.
In the last few months, there has been no significant change in the number of positive evaluations of the president’s work, but the negative ones have decreased. In July, the positive assessments for Rumen Radev were 50% and the negative ones 32%.
