Last night, May 14, tremors were felt on the Danish island of Bornholm, located in the Baltic Sea.
Local media, referring to data from the Danish Institute of Geology and Geography, specify that the epicenter of the earthquake was supposed to be in northern Poland.
“The aftershocks on Bornholm were described as minor. They came in waves and caused windows, walls, and even bunkers in Nexø port to vibrate. No people were hurt, but the police found property damage, including a crack in the wall of the house.” – the Danish TV channel “TV2” reports.
At the same time, the Niheder.TV2 portal notes:
“One of the hypotheses that scientists are exploring is the connection between the shocks and the NATO military exercises Anaconda 2023, held in Pomerania (Polish territory. — EADaily)».
Recall that the Anaconda-2023 maneuvers for training the transfer of forces from the United States to Europe started on April 17, 2023. The exercises will end the day after tomorrow, May 16.
