Tremaine Emory Resigns as Supreme Creative Director: What’s Next for the Brand?

According to reports, Tremaine Emory has resigned from the position of Supreme creative director. The Supreme 2023 autumn and winter series released earlier will be the last series during Tremaine Emory’s helm of the brand. If the news is true, Tremaine Emory is leaving after just two seasons, less than two years into her tenure.

Tremaine Emory, founder of Denim Tears and manager of No Vacancy Inn, was appointed as Supreme’s latest creative director in February 2022, and also the first creative director after the brand was acquired by VF Corporation. Although the Spring/Summer 2023 and Fall/Winter 2023 collections released under the creative direction of Tremaine Emory were well received, according to VF Corp’s latest financial report in June, Supreme’s revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2023 was $523.1 million, up from last year. It was down $38.4 million over the same period and well below the pre-set $600 million target, while net income fell to $64.8 million from $82.4 million last year.

At present, the news has not been officially confirmed. Interested readers may wish to continue to pay attention, and we will bring the latest reports as soon as possible.
