Trek Presents New Madone SLR

Thursday 30 June 2022 at 17:00

Trek has unveiled the highly anticipated new model of the Madone SLR. The new model is even more aerodynamic and lighter than previous releases, partly due to the introduction of IsoFlow technology.

The new Madone features new frame shapes, a completely redesigned handlebar and stem combination and improved – more aerodynamic – riding position. In addition, Trek introduces IsoFlow: new technology that allows the seat tube to flex slightly on bumps in the road for a smoother ride, improved aerodynamics and lighter weight.

The Madone’s seventh-generation frame is a whopping 300 grams lighter than its predecessor. In addition to the aforementioned IsoFlow technology, this is partly due to a new lightweight design and the use of Trek 800 OCLV Carbon.

Trek claims that the updated version of the Madone is more than 60 seconds faster per hour, at a speed of 45 kilometers per hour. The Trek-Segafredo riders and riders will use the new Madone during the Tour de France.
