Tree Week in Chartres: Public Plantings, Workshops, and Garden Tour to Celebrate the Importance of Trees in the City

The tree will be in the spotlight in Chartres from November 20 to 25. On the occasion of Tree Week, the city and the ARBRES 28 and Environnement association will increase their actions. Several public plantings will be carried out to raise awareness of the importance of trees in the city. A tour of the horticultural garden with its 80 different species will be offered on November 22 from 3 to 4 p.m. and tree recognition workshops will take place the same day in the city’s libraries. The films Peasant landscapes (3:30 p.m.) and Senonches, a forest of the future (4:30 p.m.) will also be seen at the Apostrophe on November 25
