Libreville, Sunday November 5, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, has just decided to increase their monthly allowances.
The auxiliaries of the command have a smile on their faces with the decision of the Head of State, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema to increase their monthly allowances. This measure is contained in press release no. 025 of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI). “Aware of the overall social situation in our country, anxious to provide urgent and progressive responses to the many expectations of the Gabonese people, particularly in rural areas, having also noted the modest allowances provided to command auxiliaries, an essential link in the territorial network of the State, the president of the transition has decided to increase the monthly allowances of command auxiliaries,” underlines the text.
In detail, canton heads now have 80,000 F instead of 50,000 F per month, or 240 thousand F per quarter. Village group leaders see their compensation increased from 15,000 F to 50,000 F per month, or 150,000 per quarter. Village chiefs will now receive 30,000 F per month instead of 10,000 F, or 90,000 francs per quarter. While the cantonal secretary sees his salary increase to 95,000 francs per month, far from 65,000 F, or 285,000 francs per quarter.
