There are foods that a pregnant woman should avoid when suffering from diarrhea, because they increase its intensity, such as fried foods, spicy foods, and full-fat dairy products.

When does diarrhea require a pregnant woman to visit a doctor?

It is necessary for a pregnant woman to visit a doctor, if her diarrhea is caused by some medications, to prescribe safer alternatives for her digestive system.

If the diarrhea does not improve after a period of two to 3 days has passed, the pregnant woman should seek medical help, to find out its cause and obtain appropriate treatment for it.
