The main charge of the mother-in-law of Yang, who is accused of habitually abusing and assaulting the 16-month-old adopted child Jung In-i, and killing her, has changed from child abuse fatality to murder. In the first trial yesterday (the 13th), the prosecution requested a change of the complaint and the court accepted. The prosecution determined that Jang had an unexplained intention of murder. He said that he repeated the assault even though he knew he could die.

When the trial began, the prosecution made a request to change the complaint.
The main charge against her mother-in-law, she applied child abuse lethality, is that she would change it to murder.
It has been over a month since it was handed over to trial on December 8 last year.
At the time, the prosecution determined that the organs were damaged by Jang’s shock to Jeong In-yi’s back.
This time, I specifically put in the way the organs were damaged.
It was believed that Jang stepped on Jeong In’s stomach and lost his organ, and because of this, he died from severe bleeding.
He explained that the opinions received by referrals to experts for reappraisal after being handed over to trial became an important basis.
In particular, this situation was judged to be that Jang continued to use violence even though he knew that Jeong In could die.
In response, the adoptive parents admitted to the fact of some abuse, but did not admit both charges, saying,’There was no intention to cause death’.
After all the trials were over, the prosecution apologized in December last year, saying, “I’m sorry,” for failing to review the evidence sufficiently before handing Jang to trial.
