Travis Scott thought big for the launch of his new album UTOPIA. Only then, his concert in Egypt was canceled by the local authorities for an unexpected reason. Gentsu invites you to find out more.
The last few months have been rather trying for Travis Scott. After the dark story that happened during the Astroworld festival, the rapper has put his career on hold. During an interview given to The Breakfast Club, Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend spoke about it:
I didn’t know anything until a few minutes before the press conference. This is where I actually learned what happened. Even after the concert, you hear things you don’t know about until those few minutes before the press conference. Even then we say to ourselves ‘What?’. People pass out, things happen at concerts. But something like that? Every time you hear something like that, you want to shut down the show, you want to make sure the fans get the attention they need. Every time I could do something like that, I did it. I stopped the show several times to make sure everyone was okay […] I heard music, I had my earbuds on, but I didn’t hear that.
Travis Scott: Egyptian authorities cancel his concert
It has now been several years since the new album by Travis Scott is expected. It must be said that Astroworld was released in 2019. In the meantime, the young man gave his fans false joy by sharing several excerpts ESCAPE PLAN et MAFIA in November 2021. But this year seems to be the right one. A few days ago, the artist announced the imminent release of his project UTOPIA scheduled for July 28. On this occasion, the star saw things big since he planned to do a live stream from the Egyptian pyramids of Giza.
