Taylor’s parents, Andrea and Scott, as well as Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed, will be in attendance. Donna Kelce recently revealed that she will not be in one of the VIP suites at Allegiant Stadium due to their high cost. However, her son Travis has generously paid for the suite so that she can enjoy the game in luxury. Travis jokingly mentioned on his podcast, ‘New Heights’, that he is keeping a close eye on his finances and losing a significant amount of money to make this Super Bowl experience possible for his loved ones.
This will not be the first time that Taylor Swift has attended one of Kelce’s games. She has been a regular fixture at Chiefs games throughout the season and has been seen sitting next to Donna on several occasions. Swift is currently on her Eras Tour, which made a stop in Tokyo. The Japanese Embassy in Washington confirmed that Swift would be able to make it to the Super Bowl in time, even mentioning three of her song titles – ‘Speak Now’, ‘Fearless’, and ‘Red’ – in their statement.
Swift’s journey from Tokyo to Las Vegas will involve a 12-hour flight covering a distance of 9,000 miles. Interestingly, some fans traveling from Kansas City to Vegas on United Airlines may have been on flight UA 1989, a clear homage to Swift’s 1989 album. The flight was adorned with red and yellow flags, celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs, and United’s official account even teased the flight by posting a photo of a plane ticket with friendship bracelets, a nod to Swift’s tradition of exchanging bracelets with her fans at her concerts.
