Travis Kelce Shows Support for Taylor Swift after Record-Setting Grammy Night
Travis Kelce wasn’t able to be with Taylor Swift as she made Grammys history on Sunday night, but he showed his support while in Las Vegas preparing for Super Bowl LVIII.
Swift’s Grammy Triumph
Swift dominated the Grammys, setting a record for album of the year wins with her latest, “Midnights,” becoming the first ever singer to win it four times.
Swift also became the first and only female solo artist to win the award three times. She joined Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder in that category.
Kelce’s Support and Respect
Kelce has his mind set on helping the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers again in the upcoming Super Bowl. However, his admiration for Swift’s achievements was evident. “She’s unbelievable,” he told ESPN. “She’s rewriting the history books.”
Kelce, who has already secured two Super Bowl rings, nine Pro Bowl nods, and four first-team All-Pro honors in his incredible career, acknowledged the need to “bring home some hardware, too” to match Swift’s success.
The Supportive Relationship
Despite not being physically present on the Grammy night, Kelce and Swift have a supportive relationship. “Hopefully everybody realizes that we’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it,” Kelce shared on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show.” Kelce emphasized that the media shouldn’t force an unfair narrative onto their relationship.
Swift’s Grammy Total and Upcoming Album
With her recent wins, Swift’s Grammy totals reach a staggering 14 in her illustrious career. She also secured the Best Pop Vocal Album award and revealed that her fans could expect a new album, “Tortured Poets Department,” to be released in April.
Kelce mentioned that he had the privilege of listening to some tracks from Swift’s upcoming album but wisely refrained from revealing any spoilers.
The Super Bowl and Swift’s Attendance
While Swift has a concert scheduled in Tokyo the night before the Super Bowl, there is speculation that she might make it to Las Vegas for the big game. However, it has not been publicly confirmed whether she will be present in Sin City.
