Travis Barker is a dedicated musician, but some fans think he went too far during a practice session. The Blink-182 rock star shared a TikTok video of himself playing a small drum in what appeared to be the labor room where his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, gave birth to their baby boy.
“I train to the heartbeat of my [bébé],” Travis wrote in his November 9 post. In the video, he could be seen surrounded by medical equipment, such as sterile wipes and a digital monitor.
Although the “All the Small Things” artist had the best of intentions, several social media users felt his actions were disrespectful to Kourtney, 44.
“I literally would have been so annoyed, I wouldn’t have been able to stand it,” one comment wrote. “I love Travis, but this would have seriously tested my patience,” added another, while a third was quick to say: “Biggest disgust ever.” »
Less than a week earlier, Kourtney gave birth to her first child with Travis, a son named Rocky 13 Barker, PEOPLE reported on November 4. The news broke the same week that Travis and Kourtney’s sister Kylie Jenner were spotted arriving at the Los Angeles hospital where Kourtney was allegedly staying.

The happy parents now have a large blended family, sharing children from their previous relationships respectively. Kourtney shares Penelope, Mason and Reign Disick with ex Scott Disick, while Travis shares Alabama and Landon Barker, as well as stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Kourtney’s pregnancy journey hasn’t been easy. The Kardashians star received criticism for giving birth in her 40s, and she underwent emergency fetal surgery in September. The frightening experience left Kourtney shaken, but she and her baby happily recovered, the Lemme founder noted in a lengthy Instagram announcement.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kourtney shared. “I am forever grateful to my husband, who rushed to my bedside from the tour to be by my side in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mother, thank you for holding my hand through this. For someone who has had three very easy pregnancies in the past, I was not prepared for the fear of emergency surgery on a fetus. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand this feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for moms who had to fight for their babies during pregnancy. »
