The business travel platform Travelperk has raised 96 million euros in a financing round. The company wants to use the financial injection to develop new functions, introduce additional business travel services and advance product automation through AI.
The business travel service provider said the financing round was announced under the leadership of Softbank Vision Fund 2 and with significant participation from existing investors such as Kinnevik and Felix Capital. Stephen Thorne, Investment Director at Softbank Investment Advisers, is to become a member of Travelperk’s board of directors.
Travelperk reports that the latest financing has confirmed its business area. The business travel platform has strong potential, particularly in the area of small and medium-sized companies. There are signs of the “solid recovery of the market after the pandemic”.
