The mouth mask may disappear in most places from 1 October, the PLF form remains mandatory for the time being for those who have been abroad for more than 48 hours and return to our country. That form is free, but scammers are now trying to sell completed fake documents for a fee.

“There are fake websites that offer to fill in PLFs (Passenger Locator Form). In this, private information and a payment are wrongly requested on behalf of the FPS Public Health. These sites do not come from us and constitute an attempt at fraud,” said the spokesperson for the FPS Public Health, which has filed a complaint with the public prosecutor’s office.
If you return to Belgium from abroad after a stay of more than 48 hours, you must fill in a PLF that allows you to be identified and contacted, especially if you have stayed in a risk area.
This form is only downloadable via https://travel.info-coronavirus.be. There is no charge and the collected data is confidential and will be destroyed within 28 days. “Do not fill in any other document that asks for personal information and payment,” warns the federal public health service.
