JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Syafrin Liputo explained the travel rules for passengers using private vehicles during the tightening period for Lebaran homecoming on 22 April-5 May and 18-24 May 2021.
Syafrin’s explanation referred to the Addendum to the Covid-19 Task Force (Satgas) number 13 of 2021 which was published on Thursday (22/4/2021).

According to Syafrin, land travelers who want to leave Jakarta with private vehicles during the homecoming tightening period are not required to take a Covid-19 test.
“For private vehicles, if we read from the SE 13 addendum, we are advised to do an independent test,” said Syafrin when met at the City Hall of DKI Jakarta, Thursday.
Syafrin then ensured that his party would later carry out random checks on private vehicle users outside Jakarta.
The same goes for passengers who use buses.
“For land movement is not mandatory,” he added.
Bus passengers, continued Syafri, will be randomly checked for Covid-19.

In addition, temperature checks are also carried out for each traveler.
“Meanwhile, land travel is not mandatory in nature, so we are at the terminal (for bus passengers) to check the temperature of each traveler,” he explained.
Previously reported, the Covid-19 Task Force published an addendum on eliminating the Idul Fitri 1442 Hijriah homecoming and efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 during the holy month of Ramadan.
The addendum regulates the tightening of requirements for domestic travelers (PPDN) during D-14 pre-Eid and D + 7 after Eid.
In the addendum, it is stated that private road trippersons are advised to carry out a PCR test or H-1 antigen rapid test before departure.
Another option is to take a GeNose C19 test on the day of departure where the test is available in the rest area.
The regional Covid-19 Task Force will later be able to carry out random tests at a number of points if needed.

The traveler is also required to fill out Indonesia’s e-HAC.
Meanwhile, intercity train passengers are also required to show negative results of the PCR test or H-1 rapid antigen test before departure or the GeNose test.
However, train passengers are not required to fill out e-HAC.
On the other hand, the public, including residents of DKI Jakarta, are prohibited from going home on May 6-17, 2021.
During that period, residents who have to travel outside Jakarta are required to show an exit and entry permit (SIKM).
