People who have not been vaccinated or who have not contracted Covid-19 may ignore self-isolation when entering from San Marino, the Czech Republic, Monaco, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Spain, Malta, Poland and the Vatican, according to information released by the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control.
The 14-day cumulative rate of Covid-19 morbidity per 100 thousand inhabitants in Latvia is currently 580.9 (a week ago – 398).
In Estonia, this indicator has increased and reached 658.6 last week (529.9 a week earlier). It has also risen to 795.5 in Lithuania (645.7 a week ago), and Lithuania currently has the highest incidence of Covid-19 in the European Union (EU), while Estonia is in the third place in the list of incidence indicators.
In turn, the average indicator of the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA) increased to 150.5 during the week (146.9 a week earlier).
Travelers entering or returning to Latvia from any EU / EEA country included in the “green” or “yellow” list and holding a vaccination or disease or so-called Covid-19 certificate do not have to comply with self-isolation.
“Green list”. There are nine countries on the list of safe countries where the incidence of Covid-19 does not exceed 75 cases per 100,000 population.

In the “yellow” list 25 EU and EEA countries, excluding Latvia, where the incidence exceeds 75 cases per 100,000 population in 14 days. When entering from these countries, people who have not been vaccinated or have contracted Covid-19 should adhere to self-isolation.
