On Friday (September 3rd) the first full charter flights of the German travel company FTI and its new partner European Air Charter took off from Leipzig / Halle and Düsseldorf airports. In the next few weeks, FTI guests can fly to beach holiday destinations such as Marsa Alam and Hurghada from Leipzig / Halle or Crete, Rhodes and Kos from Düsseldorf with the Airbus A320 operated by the Bulgarian airline. FTI speaks of “maximum flight capacity for the end of the holiday spurt”.

FTI and European Air Charter want to expand their cooperation to other airports such as Frankfurt and Munich by the first quarter of 2022. The Bulgarian airline’s fleet consists of six Airbus A320-200s and nine McDonnell Douglas MD-82s. The aircraft are on average almost 30 years old.
