It worked: The team from the Leipzig travel agency Siamar has won the 26th Leipzig Marketing Prize. Touristik aktuell reported on the nomination in the category “(Re)Launch” already reported.
“This award is another milestone in Siamar’s success story, which was shaped by the courageous and radical change during the Corona pandemic,” says Managing Director Michael Riebel.
Increased efficiency and resilience
The profit shows that the measures taken were not only economically successful, but also worked in the interests of customers. “We have not only increased efficiency and profits, but also strengthened the resilience and security of our company,” says Riebel.
Siamar is now almost used to receiving prizes and awards. In the past, the travel agency has already won a Globus Award from touristik aktuell several times in various categories such as “Social Commitment”.
And touristik aktuell will once again be honoring creative and committed travel agencies at the beginning of 2025. The competition starts in September. Prizes will be awarded in the categories “Best offline travel agency campaign”, “Best online travel agency campaign” and in the category “Social commitment/sustainability”. The field sales representative of the year and the best trainees will also be honored. (ah)
