light (pm). The Traumstern cinema will be presenting the film and photo project »Giessen 1907« on Sunday, April 16 at 12 noon. At the benefit event, a one-hour film about historic Gießen in 1907 with old photos, references and stories from that time can be seen, embedded in a small background story with numerous amateur actors.
The former Bundestag Vice President Hermann Otto Solms will open the event with a welcoming address. The organizers announced that a champagne reception was planned after the film. In addition, a faithful replica of Justus von Liebig will greet visitors there.
Admission is free, possible donations go to the Hospiz-Verein Gießen, among others.
