The Ibiza City ship has a capacity for 219 passengers and a large hold capacity of 1,400 linear meters, thus guaranteeing the needs of the shippers of Ibiza. Of 16,686 gross log tons, it measures 159.70 m in length, 23.20 m in beam and 6.20 m in draft and maintains a speed of 22 knots.
The use of masks is mandatory
Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea, since May 4, announced the mandatory use of masks that cover the nose and mouth is mandatory for all passengers traveling on their ships as established in Article 1 of Order TMA 384/2020. According to the regulations established by the Government of Spain, once passengers are inside their cabins, the use of masks will not be necessary.
The company complies with a hygiene and disinfection protocol in all its ships with the objective of guaranteeing the safety of passengers and crew and with the firm purpose of preventing the spread of the Covid-19 contagion.
In this sense, it should be remembered that, in addition to the mandatory use of masks for both crew and passengers, extremely demanding cleaning protocols are maintained on a regular and constant basis on all of their ships, increasing the number of in-depth services in order to disinfect the entire fleet with specific hospital-grade products duly authorized.
