Global index provider FTSE Russell has published the indicative results of its half-yearly review from September 2024.
A new Romanian company, TTS (Transport Trade Services), has been joining the companies that are part of the FTSE Russell Emerging Markets indices since September, according to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. TTS shares will be included in the FTSE Global All Cap indices.
According to the same notice, Bittnet Systems shares are to be excluded from Micro Cap records as the company’s free float market capitalization is below the index’s permitted level. At the same time, the shares of the companies Aquila, AROBS Transilvania Software, Conpet and Sphera Franchise Group are to be excluded from the Micro Cap indices because their stock market capitalization has exceeded the level maximum allowed of the FTSE Global Micro Cap index, which was established. at the current review. This means that their shares are likely to be included in a higher volume category in the future, according to BVB.
Romania is classified as an Emerging Market by the international index provider FTSE Russell.
