Transportation Agency Officer Injured in Attack by Illegal Parking Attendant in Jakarta’s Monas Area

Head of the Gambir District Transportation Implementation Unit, Firdaus Burhanuddin said the incident occurred on Friday (28/4) at around 19.49 WIB at the Monas gate near Pertamina. Initially members of the Gambir District Transportation Agency conducted patrols around the Monas area.

“So we received a report from members of the Gambir District Satpol PP that there had been illegal parking activities carried out by illegal workers, we immediately went to the TKP 3 people to check the veracity of the report. It turned out to be true, there were around 30 wheeled vehicles there. two parked at that location,” Firdaus told detikcomSaturday (29/4).

Then the three members of the Transportation Agency asked for help from other members to come to the location. The members of the Transportation Agency plan to carry out an operation to remove the valves to take action against motorists who park illegally at the entrance area of ​​Monas.

“If the owner of the vehicle was still at that location, we would just do a search. However, because the owner had left it, the members took the initiative to remove the valve,” he said.

However, the illegal workers at the location did not accept the arrival of the Transportation Agency officers. An illegal jakir with the initials R (23) swore at the officers and drew a machete.

“(The perpetrator) tried to provoke us with unethical words, ‘to your toll **’. So after that he walked away from us towards our tent post, took a black backpack, then came back to us while removing a gun from his bag. Then pulled it out of its shell, trying to attack us,” he said.

The members of the Transportation Agency tried to snatch the machete from the hands of the illegal jukir. However, a member of the Transportation Agency named Fachri was slashed with a machete while fighting over the sharp weapons.

The perpetrator was handed over to the police

The Transportation Agency officers succeeded in securing the illegal jukir who attacked using officers. Actor R was taken to the Gambir District Office and finally handed over to the Gambir Police.

Jikir Attacks Transportation Agency Becomes a Suspect

The jukir with the initials R who attacked and injured a member of the Transportation Agency in the Monas area was named a suspect and immediately detained.
