HOLTEN/WADDINXVEEN – Dachser takes over Transportgroep A. Müller BV with its head office in Holten, the Netherlands. In addition to the warehouses, this acquisition includes the extensive fleet of conditioned trucks. The two companies have agreed not to disclose the acquisition price. The definitive acquisition is currently pending approval by ACM.
Müller is active in the market under the name Müller Fresh Food Logistics. In 2021, the company’s 770 food logistics employees generated around 90 million euros in revenue, making it one of the leading food logistics providers in the Netherlands. Dachser will not take over Müller’s commercial vehicle workshops (Müller European Truck and Trailer Care), which employ another 80 people. Müller’s shareholders will continue to run the service garage independently, under the management of Anton Müller.
Müller, founded in 1938 in Holten, has five branches in the Netherlands and one in the Czech Republic. As a full-service logistics service provider, Müller offers services in warehousing, transport and distribution in the ambient, fresh and frozen segments. The company’s portfolio also includes storage in all temperature ranges and customer-specific value-added services. Müller’s CEO, Jan-Peter Müller, remains at the helm, supported by his trusted and established management team.

Combining reliability and quality
In the future, Dachser’s customers will be able to use Müller’s close-knit distribution network in the Netherlands. Müller serves this network with its own fleet of 350 trucks and 400 trailers and employs more than 400 drivers.
