Brice Paillat gave his letter of resignation to the Head of State Ali Bongo, this Thursday, March 16, 2023.
According to a statement, Transport Minister Brice Paillat has announced his resignation. Indeed, this resignation comes after the sinking of the boat Esther Miracle on March 9th.
This shipwreck is the cause of the death of more than twenty people. 124 people have been rescued, searches are continuing to find the rest of the missing people.
The press release specifies that the Minister Delegate for Transport will be responsible for handling current affairs until the appointment of a new Minister of Transport.
