Another Saint-Pierrais is still in competition within the Magnus League. This is the international Valentin Claireaux. His team, that of Rouen, is ranked in the top three and more precisely behind Grenoble and ahead of Angers. Valentin, his childhood friend, knows Nicolas well and his qualities on the ice.

He is very dangerous in the cage and he is able to score in any position and then I see that in him when I see him on the ice.

If the young hockey players of the archipelago are increasingly rare to follow in the footsteps of Valentin Claireaux, Nicolas Arrossaména in the Magnus League or as Gary Lévêque, Jonathan Janil, Andy Foliot and Mathieu Briand did before them, others joined Division 1 clubs or teams in Canada.
