“Our collective responsibility, our duty is to create a fully accessible and inclusive education system, focused on the needs of girls” is the statement of the resident coordinator of the United Nations system in Guinea. The announcement was made during the pledge meeting at the Education Transformation Summit in New York. In front of technical partners, trade unions and civil society organizations, Minister Guillaume Hawing, on behalf of the other two ministers responsible for education, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to make education a lever for development with a budget that now increases from 12% in 2022, 15% in 2023 and 21% by 2025.
