The couple uses clay pots, plastic bottles and even car tires to grow aloe vera and various plants that are good for health and the environment.
Palestinian Alaa Badwan said: I collected house waste from plastic cans and milk cans, and we started using them by planting aloe vera seedlings on the roof of the house. In this way, we help the environment by providing clean and fresh air and avoiding harmful waste.
While some Palestinians use their rooftops to grow produce and make a profit, the primary goal of this family is to raise public awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.
