Metallic paint, a new engine, LED headlights and a comfortable interior – this 33-year-old ZIL-130 dreamed of such a “second” life even after leaving the assembly line.
The car was reworked in the city of Kamen-Kashirsky, Volyn region. Auto24 learned the details of tuning this truck.
As it turned out, this ZIL-130 stood idle for years in the yard of the former owner. The car was bought for their own needs – such a truck is extremely necessary on the farm. In order to bring the car for a long time and with inspiration. Made a puppet.

The frame, the box of the rear unloading body, the lifting hydraulic cylinder remained original. The cabin is also visually factory in features, but different. However, here is everything else, made by hand, recycled and slightly tuned.
The car, which has 33,000 kilometers on the speedometer (not twisted, but actually passed), has undergone fundamental changes. In the engine niche, instead of a carbureted eight-cylinder V-engine with 150 hp. (gasoline A-76), which consumed 32 liters per hundred kilometers with appetite, they installed an in-line four-cylinder diesel Andoria of about the same power, but more economical.
Hot dogs are not only with sausage! For example, hot dogs with kebabs with aromatic herbs, cooked according to a classic recipe, appeared on WOG. Kebab na WOG are beef or chicken. Both are very tasty.

All wiring has been replaced. Lighting devices were also picked up by others. They fit well into the front panel in the usual places, but with a more modern lighting potential. The rear lampshades of dimensions, turns, license plate, brake lights were also replaced, which gave the dump truck a stylish appearance. Reflectors were placed on the sides.
The standard bluish-white cab was repainted. Ultramarine metallic was used for the main surface.
The front panel with a radiator grille and a headlight unit received a metallic silver instead of white.
Now visually it is “one hundred and thirty”, although in fact it is a modern truck. The arms of the large mirrors give a somewhat unusual look, but they fit well into the overall appearance and give a much better rear view than the original mirrors.
As for the interior and its trim, instead of the driver’s seat and the passenger sofa, according to the 1 + 2 formula, they put two Pilot sports seats with height adjustment plus a driver’s seat with position memory. Instead of a simple inner lining made of pressed cardboard, they resorted to fabric stitching.
True, this upholstery was ordered from specialists. The lined fabric is stitched with even stitches and patterns in the form of rhombuses. This gave the cabin not only comfort, but also a pleasant look. All sidewalls on doors, side, rear walls and on the ceiling are in the same design.
But the dashboard here is original, as is the steering wheel. However, there is still a difference from the classic 130th: the driver of the dump truck now does not need to make muscular driving efforts, since the new owner put a power steering here, which was not in the factory version.
Now the need for a dump truck has disappeared, and it was decided to sell it in good hands and put it up for sale on the auto.ria platform. The price is very affordable for this level of tuning – $ 11,600.
A car with a careful attitude can serve a new owner for more than a decade. The family plans to send part of the proceeds from the sale to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine
