How did it happen that you came to Warta Poznań? When did the interest arise and how long did the talks last?
My first contact with Warta Poznań was before the play-offs for promotion to the league. When it became clear that Warta won the final match, we started talks. The negotiations went very smoothly because there was interest from both sides.
With what expectations do you come to Warta?
Undoubtedly, I wanted to stay in the league. Unfortunately, we fell with Ark, with whom I had a valid contract for a year. Together with the club, we decided to dissolve it, and I wanted to stay at the highest level, so I chose Warta. Despite several other proposals, often financially better, but e.g. from the 1st league. Even foreign destinations were possible, but not the very attractive ones. I chose Warta because I wanted to try my hand at the top league.
Last season was extremely difficult for you, mainly due to injuries. How do you evaluate the past year?
Needless to say, a lot of things happened wrong from the beginning last season. First, I had a collarbone injury, which I suffered in the first Arka game right after signing the contract. She actually eliminated me for six months. Once I recovered and recovered from training and made my league debut, the pandemic began. In fact, I came back to playing at the end of the games and it was important for me to catch the rhythm of the match. I wanted to show everyone that I am ready and you can say that I have succeeded. After the pandemic, I played almost all possible matches, except for the game where I had to pause for cards. I think it was important because it showed that all my health problems are behind me. This translated into some interest in my person.
What do you think was the reason why the Ark was unsuccessful?
It is difficult to pinpoint one specific reason that made it so. It is usually influenced by many factors, and in this case it was also the case. For sure there was some chaos in the club, there were many big changes that were constantly taking place. I was in Ark for only a year, and during that time I had the first four coaches and a similar number of CEOs, so it’s hard for it to work well. But in the end, we failed on the pitch and we didn’t score enough points. This is always the direct reason for the drops.
Considering the end of the season, do you see a reserve in your game?
You can always work on something. In my adventure with the ball, I managed to show much more than it was, for example in Arka, so I know that I can play at a higher level. I hope that Warta will be a place where I will show the form of the best matches in Legia, or later after leaving for Australia.
It is no wonder that Warta is the hegemon of the league, a rather modest club. Have you been convinced by the vision of being part of a harmonious and loving team?
Personally, I have not had the opportunity to meet the guys from Warta before. However, I have read many articles about this team, which have been written a lot recently, especially after winning play-offs. On this basis, I was able to get to know this team to some extent, learn more about it. It was undoubtedly important that this is a well-coordinated, young, ambitious team that no one was betting on, and they did a great result. This story allows us to believe that the season in the league will be equally successful for this team.
The first classes in the new team are already behind you. What is the beginning of cooperation?
I’m back to training on the pitch after a few weeks off, so I’m glad it finally happened. I think it is too early for any evaluation on my part, because I am just getting to know everything. I focus on catching up quickly. The time to look for a club has been extended for me, so now I am facing a period of hard work.

Have you ever been to the Warta stadium, the popular “Ogródek”? Of course, except for yesterday’s presentation.
No, it was my first visit to the stadium itself. However, after coming to Poznań, I went for a walk around Wilda and the vicinity of the club.
