On this page, you will only find the transfer possibilities that can be booked in advance. This allows you to prepare your trip knowing that the transfer will be organized on arrival.
For public transport, I obviously present all the possibilities in the guide section of the site. It is more economical but it is the least comfortable solution, especially with the luggage that has to be dragged up the stairs. Few subway stations are equipped with escalators or even lifts in New York… And when you’ve done 8 hours of flight + the time difference, I assure you it’s worth the cost of making a little extra effort on the price of his trip by offering a more convenient transfer.
For the metro, yes it is essential. New York is a very big city, and if you want to explore it, you can’t do everything on foot.
