TRANSFERS – Colomiers rugby continues its recruitment. Dove executives secured the signings of Ray Nu’u and Luke Nadurutalo. Also, the right pillar Hugo Pirlet continues his commitment of two seasons.
Colomiers rugby started its season with the end of the contract of 21 players. Among them are several elements in the center, such as Grégoire Maurino, Johan Deysel and Michele Campagnaro. To replace them, the club has already positioned itself on the Dacquois Rodrigo Marta and the Carcassonnais Martin Dulon. Both, future players of the workforce, are versatile three-quarters who can evolve both on the wing and in the center.
But more specialist profiles have been approached. Thus, according to our information, two recruits were registered this week. They are Raymond Nu’u and Luke Nadurutalo, who are signing up for the next two seasons. The first, a 24-year-old New Zealander (1.80m, 96kg), played for the Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby last season. He is an integral part of the Otago club.
The second had a more atypical career, between rugby league and XV. While he was preparing with Fiji for the XIII World Cup in October 2021, it was postponed. This fellow therefore had an opportunity to play XV with the Waratahs in Super Rugby. Otherwise, at XIII, he knew the clubs of Penrith and the Wildfires in Australia.
Finally, Colomiers rugby and Hugo Pirlet have agreed to extend the adventure for two seasons. The right pillar (1.89m, 126kg), present since 2018 in the Toulouse suburbs, is thus linked to the club until 2025. He took part in six meetings this season.
