This afternoon the Council of Ministers gave the green light to the decree law that extends the blocking of movements between the Regions, even the yellow ones, from 15 to February 25.
“On the entire national territory – reads the document – any movement in and out between the territories of different regions or autonomous provinces is prohibited, except for the movements motivated by proven work needs or situations of necessity or for health reasons. In any case, the return to one’s residence, domicile or home is allowed “.
Meanwhile, the epidemiological situation in Valle d’Aosta improves: the Rt index fell to 0.77 (while the national one rises to 0.95) and the weekly incidence is 41.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, while the Italian average is 133. This was confirmed by the President of the Higher Institute of Health at a press conference this afternoon, Silvio Brusaferro.
Another week on these values could guarantee the white area to our Region: on paper it takes 14 days under the “critical” limit of 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The current risk classification for the Aosta Valley is “low”.
