There is an (almost) certainty, Adrian Grbic will end the season away from Lorient. The 26-year-old Austrian striker is going on loan but he’s spoiled for choice. Offers have come from Spain or Italy but it is in Ligue 2, where the former Clermontois had revealed himself in 2019-2020, that he could land.
Barred by competition with the Hakes in the first part of the season, he wants to be sure that he will accumulate as much playing time as possible over the last five months of the season. Grbic is thus hesitating between Caen, which he was very close to last week, Valenciennes and Dijon, the last club to have revealed themselves. He remains under contract with FCL until June 2025.
