It was officially decided to transfer the match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek, in the final of the African Champions League, scheduled for the twenty-seventh of this November, from Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria to Cairo.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, confirmed that the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match had been moved to Cairo International Stadium instead of Burj Al Arab in Alexandria.
Ashraf Sobhi said in televised remarks, “We are proud of the presence of Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the final of the African Champions League, and it will be a great wedding that Egypt will celebrate on the twenty-seventh of this November.”
He added, “The stadium for the final match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek was modified, and the match was officially transferred from Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria to Cairo Stadium after obtaining the necessary security approvals for the transfer of the match.”
