Stuttgart – Now a big club that has the claim to move into international business has stepped up in Borussia Mönchengladbach. Borussia paid 5.5 million euros to Union Berlin for the new central defender Marvin Friedrich. Until this transfer, two so-called little ones were the kings of the Bundesliga this winter. FC Augsburg paid their record transfer fee of 16.36 million euros for the striker Ricardo Pepi (19) from FC Dallas. And SC Freiburg invested a whopping 4.5 million euros for the 19-year-old right-back Hugo Siquet from Standard Liège.
