LIVERPOOL – Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah is reportedly heading to the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
According to KSA Sport, the 31-year-old forward will play his last match for Liverpool against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday, after which he should travel to the Arabian Peninsula for a medical check-up.
The Saudi Arabian club have set August 28 as the deadline for Liverpool’s final response regarding the sale of Salah. Al-Ittihad offered the Egyptian a three-year contract with a salary of around 76 million euros.
2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema, former Chelsea FC player N’Golo Kante and Salah’s former Liverpool teammate Fabinho also work in this club.
