Welcome back to our continuous LIVE coverage of all the latest transfer news, gossip and rumors with the January window fast approaching.
While Covid-19 has had a huge impact on club finances around the world, a lot of money is still being spent in the summer window and it will undoubtedly change hands once more when we enter 2021.
There will also be a chance to land some great players in pre-contract deals for the summer, and Lionel Messi is unlikely to sign a new contract in Barcelona following his extraordinary fall with the club.
Manchester City seem to bet on the Argentine legend with Pep Guardiola in charge, but a reunion with Neymar at PSG is also a clear possibility.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are struggling for creativity in midfield and could turn to an unlikely source: Christian Eriksen. The Danish playmaker’s move from Tottenham to Inter Milan hasn’t quite worked out, and Gazzetta dello Sport claims the Gunners could make a move in January for the former Spurs hero.

Will the city spend in January?
Pep Guardiola says Man City is unlikely to join his attack in January given the impact of Covid-19 on the club’s finances.
City have struggled for goals this season with Sergio Agüero’s injury problems, scoring 19 goals in 13 Premier League games, just over half of the 37 he had scored at the same stage last season.
But when asked if City was looking to strengthen its strike force in the January window, Guardiola replied: “No, I don’t think so because the economic situation around the world is what it is.
“All clubs fight, we are no exception.”
