Transfer Market: Juventus welcomes Pierre Kalulu, a new start for the Franco-Congolese Defender

Juventus Turin has made official the arrival of Pierre Kalulu, a young 24-year-old Franco-Congolese defender, from AC Milan. The transfer is in the form of a paid loan of 3.5 million euros, with a purchase option set at 14 million euros.

The move marks a significant step in Kalulu’s career, as he joins the Old Lady in the hope of making a bigger impact on the European stage.

Pierre Kalulu, whose brothers Aldo and Gédéon have already represented the Democratic Republic of Congo national team, is considered a promising player. The young defender has caught the attention of Juventus thanks to his solid performances with AC Milan, despite limited playing time in recent seasons.

This Kalulu move could also precipitate the departure of Chancel Mbemba from Olympique de Marseille. The 30-year-old Congolese defender, currently in conflict with the Marseille management, is now on AC Milan’s radar. After two remarkable seasons with OM, Mbemba seems ready for a new challenge, especially with the arrival of Roberto De Zerbi, the new Marseille coach, who does not seem to be counting on him for this new season.
